Challenges

There was a need to adapt the interface to work in both light and dark modes, preserving brand consistency, readability, and accessibility, ensuring the app feels comfortable to use in longer reading sessions. Also, there was a need to optimize the information architecture for the live page, with more content being showcased.

Solution
New refined interface design, with accessibility-first principles, focusing on typography, contrast, and spacing so that both light and dark modes remain comfortable reading at night and early mornings. Content-first layout built for deep reading in each article.

Live page was restructured to highlight live news channels and news reports through a clear hierarchy, making it easy to jump between streams and in-depth coverage.

Bolder app presence: a recognizable icon and feature-rich store visuals, to showcase the app features.
